Several Weekend Arrests in Oconee County

Curtis Justin Bearden, 36 of West Union, was arrested on Friday by the Seneca Police Department. He is being held for multiple charges including driving under suspension (license not suspended DUI) 2nd, violation of probation (used by PPP only), sale or delivery of handgun to and possession by certain persons unlawful; stolen handguns and drugs/man dist. etc. of methamphetamine 2nd (excludes manufacturing meth). His total bond amount is $74,270 and he remains in custody at this time.

William Louis Lee II, a 59-year-old resident of West Union, was arrested on Saturday by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held for multiple charges including assault and battery high and aggravated nature, discharging firearms into a dwelling, possession of a weapon during violent crime, possession of a firearm by convicted violent felon and malicious injury to personal property. His total bond amount is $47,250 and he remains in custody at this time.

James Russell McCurley, 47 from Westminster, was arrested on Saturday by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. He is being held for multiple charges including DUI/driving under the influence, hit and run accident with property damage and pointing and presenting firearms at a person. His total bond amount is $6,992 and he remains in custody at this time.
