Sewer line repairs completed in OC

Repairs to a sewer line break on Reedy Fork Road in Oconee County are complete. Bob Winchester, executive director of the Oconee Joint Regional Authority reports that workers completed repairs at 2:30am Wednesday morning after seepage was discovered on Monday. In two nights and one day, workers replaced 80-feet of pipe. Winchester said the line that broke was 34-years-old and span from Speed’s Creek Pump Station. Flows were contained to a holding tank on the Authority’s property at Martin’s Creek.
