Sewer Stakeholders Meeting This Afternoon

The “Central Oconee County Sewer Planning Stakeholder Meeting” is set to take place this afternoon in Walhalla. The meeting, which will last for two hours, is scheduled from 1:30 to 3:30 at the Walhalla Depot. The agenda includes a presentation and discussion on a specific project. However, the Joint Regional Sewer Authority has clarified that this meeting will not include a public comment period. Instead, those who are not members of the Stakeholder Committee, including citizens, are advised to share their comments and feedback at the relevant OJRSA Board and Committee meetings. The meeting will cover an overview of the project, data collection and analysis, and a structured interactive discussion about the future of wastewater service in the area for the next two decades.
