SHEP providing Service to Stranded SC Drivers

The South Carolina Highway Emergency Program is ready to help you if you have broken down on a state road. The program known as SHEP acts as a free emergency service to get disabled drivers back up and running. Services include jumping batteries, helping patch a tire, and even filling your tank enough to get to the next exit.  These crews operate seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm, Saturday from 8am to 6pm and Sunday from 8am to 4pm.  To call for this free SHEP service, dial *47.  This service works in conjunction with the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
