Shooting in Anderson Wounds Three

A verbal dispute turned into a shooting that injured three people as a bar was closing on Sunday night, according to the Anderson Police Department. Officers said they responded to a call about a man with a gun on North Main Street around 10:37 p.m. When they arrived, they heard gunshots and saw people yelling outside the bar. A report said an officer approached a group of people and a man walked towards him with his hands up, saying he was the shooter. The man was arrested. Police said three people were shot and taken to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing to determine who initiated the incident and who was the main aggressor.
