SHS Ag Program receives Lowe’s Grant

The Seneca Agricultural Education Program has been selected to receive a 2013 Lowe’s Toolbox for Education Grant in the amount of $5,000 for the Ag Students at Work project from the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation.  This project consists of landscaping several areas around different athletic fields at Seneca High School.  Agricultural education students will be responsible for the design for these areas as well as the installation and maintenance of the plants.  Agricultural educator and Future Farmers of America advisor, Christina Alexander, overseas the program at Seneca High School.  Landscape installation will begin this fall.
