SHS Announces New Football Coach

Seneca High School is excited to announce that Coach David Crane, former Head Football Coach at Greenville High School, has been named as the new Head Football Coach at Seneca High School. Coach Crane comes to Seneca High School with 25 years of coaching experience, 8 of which he served as a head football coach. His accolades as coach include 7 region championships, 2 state championships, 1 state runner up, and 2 state final four teams. He has had 22 players sign to play college football during his time as Head Football Coach at Greenville High School. His team’s 2018 Greenville High Red Raider overall GPA was 3.51, including 32.7% of players boasting a 4.0 GPA or higher. Coach Crane’s pedigree of coaching include mentorship from coaching legends Tom Bass, Stuart Holcombe, and Bobby Bentley.

Coach Crane is a 1993 graduate of Seneca High School. After playing football for the legendary
Bobcat Coach Tom Bass, he began his coaching career with Coach Bass’s coaching staff as a graduate assistant. The Bobcat Family welcomes Coach Crane and his wife Elizabeth Crane, daughter Bailey (16) and son Matthew (14).
