SHS announces New Head Football Coach

The Seneca High School Athletic Department invites the community to a 4:30pm gathering this afternoon as new Head Football Coach Gene Cathcart is formally introduced.  Coach Cathcart is in his 24^th year in coaching and most recently served as the head coach at Greenwood High School for the past five years leading them to three AAAA state championship games and an undefeated state championship season in 2012. Coach Cathcart will serve as Head Football coach and will serve in the roles of assistant athletics director and teacher. He will meet with the Bobcat football team and coaching staff prior to the 4:30pm press conference. There will be a community meet and greet immediately following the press conference. This afternoon’s gathering takes place in the Seneca High School media center.
