SHS Baseball wins AAA Upper State Championship

The Seneca High School varsity baseball team will compete for the AAA State Championship again. On Wednesday, the Bobcats beat Indian Land, 3-0, to win their second straight Upper State Championship. The Bobcats advance to the AAA State Championship Series where they play Bishop England in a rematch of last year’s championship. This year, the Bobcats look to avenge last year’s loss in the series that went three games. On Saturday, May 12, the Bobcats travel to Charleston for Game 1, then Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, at Coach Mac Field at SHS, and if necessary, Game 3 will be played at a neutral site. Game times have not been announced.
