SHS Football Coach resigns

In a shocking development, Seneca High School is once again searching for a new head football coach. Late Tuesday afternoon, Seneca High School Principal Cliff Roberts announced that Gene Cathcart has resigned as a teacher and the head football coach at Seneca High School for personal reasons effective immediately. Principal Roberts had no further statement at this time. This is the fifth head football coach to resign from Seneca High School in the last nine years. In Cathcart’s one year as head football coach at Seneca High School, the varsity football team went 9-3 and made it to the second round of the AAA State Playoffs.
