SHS Honors Chorale and Honors Women’s Chorus rated Superior

The Seneca High School (SHS) Honors Chorale and Honors Women’s Chorus earned Superior with Distinction ratings at the South Carolina State Choral Festival in Columbia. Both choirs earned straight superiors from three collegiate adjudicators on the performance portion of the festival. Both choirs also earned a superior on the sight singing and music literacy portion of the festival which qualified them for the top award. Of the 16 AAA Varsity Choirs performing in the state only three were awarded a Superior with Distinction and the Honors Chorale and Honors Women’s Chorus received the highest award along with a choir from Gilbert High School.
