SHS hosting BOBCATS Central

Seneca High School has a new afterschool program called BOBCATS Central and it is open to all students, explains Coach Andrew Jenkins. “BOBCATS Central is an afterschool program. It basically takes the at-risk kids and the kids who don’t normally have opportunities to maybe see other parts of Oconee County. They get to do some enrichment things and it gives them an opportunity to have somebody take care of them after school and have a meal. Its an opportunity for that kid to get better at academics, have some sort of enrichment program where they get to do some activities, go some places they have never been, take some field trips they have never been on and basically have one-on-one tutoring.” BOBCATS Central meets Monday through Friday from 3:15-5:45pm. If you would like for your student to participate, call the SHS main office at 886-4460 to request an application.
