SHS names Louis Holleman Men’s Golf Coach

Seneca High School recently named Louis Holleman the head men’s golf coach.  Coach Holleman is a life-long Seneca resident where his children attended Seneca High School.  Prior to serving in the Student Services Department at the School District of Oconee County, he taught 13 years at Seneca Middle School.  During that teaching tenure, he coached C-team basketball for 3 years.  Later, he coached junior varsity basketball for 5 years and JV football for 3 years.  He was a longtime assistant, until 1991, in the Seneca varsity boys’ basketball program.  Currently, he is the chairman of the Golf Committee at Cross Creek Plantation. Seneca High School Principal, Cliff Roberts said, “Continuing with our practice of providing the very best we can for our students, we are thrilled that Mr. Holleman has decided to accept our offer to be the men’s golf coach at Seneca High.  I feel confident our program will excel in the coming years under his direction.” Seneca High School Athletic Director Duke Lee said, “I’m excited with the addition of Mr. Holleman to our athletics staff.  He is a proven leader that understands the game and more specifically, the game from the perspective of high school student-athletes.”
