Sign up for eCity News from Seneca

The City of Seneca invites the community to become a subscriber to its free eCity News email. Keep up-to-date with the latest news and events in the city, explains Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander.  “We’re encouraging everybody to go to the Seneca website and it is in the top right hand corner, it says Seneca News, just click on it and give us your information.  That is only for the city, we don’t give it to anybody else, but what we will do is keep you informed about everything going on in Seneca.” Mayor Alexander describes how the eCity News subscription works.  “We have what is called an eblast; it is like where you can get the city news.  It allows you to actually sign up and what it does is get your email address and what we are able to do, if you sign up, it allows us to get you any new information that is going on our website.” Mayor Alexander says this service is also used for emergency alerts. “If there is some type of emergency alert that needs to be gotten out, this is the way for us to do it too, so we use it for that, but most of all we using it to actually tell about everything that is going on in Seneca, any of the events that are going on, the time, the dates or anything like that.” To sign up for eCity News from the City of Seneca, visit www.seneca.sc.us.   At anytime you wish to cancel your subscription you may do so by following the simple instructions at the bottom of any email you receive from the city.
