Simpsonville Woman Charged Locally with Grand Larceny

A Simpsonville woman is out of jail on bond after her arrest over the weekend. On Saturday, Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 39 year-old Ashley Lynne Blaska and charged her with two counts of grand larceny.

According to reports from the Sheriff’s Office, Blaska was accused of stealing a 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 Flatbed and trailer, each with a combined value of almost $60,000. Deputies investigated a disturbance complaint at a residence on Linn Garden Lane near West Union.

Later, a Dodge Ram truck was reported stuck in mud at a boat landing, and deputies said it was the same truck Blaska allegedly stole.
