South Carolina Department Of Public Safety Announces Preliminary Total Of Six Persons Killed On South Carolina Roadways This Past Weekend

(Seneca, SC)————-The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has announced a preliminary total of six persons were killed on South Carolina roadways this past weekend, from the time period between 6pm, last Friday, August 9th and just before midnight on Sunday, August 11th.

As of this past Sunday, 579 persons have died on South Carolina roadways, compared to 626 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018.

As of Sunday, according to the Department of Public Safety, 21 persons have died on roadways in Anderson County, nine persons have died on roadways in Oconee County and eight persons have died on roadways in Pickens County so far this year.
