South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony For Training Center Expansion

(Seneca, SC)——————–South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation in Seneca held a groundbreaking ceremony today for their Training Center Expansion. The expansion will increase the square footage of their training facility as well as adding a new roof. 

Among the speakers today was Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander, who is employed by SC Vocational Rehab as well as State Senator Thomas Alexander, who was honored with a special recognition. 

Senator Alexander says that today is special for him in regards to supporting the community and the good work and partnerships that made today possible. Alexander also praised Oconee County and everyone at the Oconee and Pickens Office of South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation for making a difference for the clients and consumers they serve in regards to helping them gain gainful employment as well as the business and industry that is providing them with those opportunities and jobs. 

Senator Alexander said that it was a privilege for him to be part of the celebration and to serve as State Senator and he said he was touched for the special recognition bestowed upon him. The Senator said he is looking forwarded to celebrating more successes in the future.
