Southern Wesleyan Hosts 33 Students For First Summer Residency

(Seneca, SC)—-Southern Wesleyan University recently held its first Summer Residency as the school hosted 33 students who are seeking a doctorate in education in curriculum and assessment.

The residency requirement is embedded within the online degree program.

According to a release from the school, the first of three residencies required focused on quantitative and mixed method R statistics and academic writing.

Seven weeks of online coursework precede the residency and seven weeks of online          instruction follows.

The residency not only allows students to learn but also allows the students to network as well.
