Sports Update For Monday, December 2nd, 2019; Second Seeded Clemson Advances To Quarterfinals Of The NCAA Soccer Tournament
(Seneca, SC)—The second seeded Clemson men’s soccer team has earned a birth to the quarterfinals of the NCAA men’s soccer tournament with a 2-1 win over Providence last night on a penalty kick. The Tigers will host either Stanford or Virginia Tech Friday at 6pm at Historic Riggs Field.
The 5th ranked South Carolina women’s basketball team defeated #2 and defending National Champion Baylor Saturday night 74-59 to win the Paradise Jam Reef Division title. The win ended Baylor’s 36 game winning streak.
The South Carolina men’s basketball team defeated George Washington 74-65 yesterday behind 17 points from Malik Kotsar.
The Clemson women’s team picked up a win Saturday night by a score of 77-46 over Alcorn State in Daytona Beach.
Clemson will face Minnesota tonight on the road in the ACC/Big 10 challenge. Tipoff is set for 9pm eastern time and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
The Furman basketball team will travel to Tampa tonight to take on South Florida at 6pm.
The South Carolina Volleyball team has earned a birth to the NCAA tournament as they will travel to the University of Washington to take on Colorado State at 6pm local time on Friday.
