Sports Update For Monday, September 30th, 2019; Seneca begins conference play this Friday night versus liberty
(Seneca, SC)—–The ninth ranked Clemson women’s soccer team defeated #16 Virginia Tech 3-1 yesterday at Historic Riggs Field.
Meanwhile, the 4th ranked Clemson men’s soccer team lost on the road in Winston-Salem to #7 Wake Forest on penalty kicks.
The Clemson men’s golf team is tied for third place with Texas after one round of the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational in Oregon. Oklahoma is currently in first place, eight shots ahead of both the Tigers and Longhorns.
The Clemson women’s golf team finished in ninth place this weekend in the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, OK. Third ranked Texas finished in first place and won the tournament by nine shots.
The South Carolina baseball team last to North Carolina State 15-5 in a fall baseball scrimmage in Raleigh yesterday.
Both the Clemson Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks have open weeks this week in college football.
The Seneca Bobcats begin conference play this Friday at home at the Bobcats host Liberty Friday night in a game you can hear on The Lake.
