Sports Update For Thursday, August 8th, 2019; Clemson Football Fun Day Set For This Sunday At Death Valley

(Seneca, SC)—–Clemson University has announced that the Clemson Football Fun Day is set for this Sunday, August 11th at Death Valley.

Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney and the football team will be available for autographs beginning at 2:30pm until 5pm.  Fans will be permitted to enter through gates 1,5,9,10 and 13.  The Ticket Office and the IPTAY Office will be open from 1:30pm until 3pm.

Free public parking is available and fans are encouraged to arrive early and to be patient as the full traffic and parking plan utilized during the regular season will not be in effect.

Clemson also reports that a limited number of single game tickets remain for the Georgia Tech game on August 29th.  Contact the Clemson ticket office for more information.

Clemson track and field Head Coach Mark Elliott has announced that Vicky Pounds is the new head cross country coach and is also an assistant coach for the Tigers’ distance events.

Pounds comes to Clemson after spending seven years as head coach at the University of Montana, where she served as the assistant coach for cross country and track and field.
