Sports Update For Tuesday, April 17th, 2019; Seneca Sweeps Daniel In Baseball Doubleheader

The Seneca Bobcat baseball team swept a doubleheader yesterday from the Daniel Lions. The Bobcats won game one by a score of 7-2. Walker Lathrop and Mason Fassino had two hits each for Seneca while Ryan Moore pitched a complete game to pick up the win. 

In game two, Fassino pitched a complete game to get the win while Dakota Peters, Carson Smith and Jack Raymark had RBI’s for the Bobcats. 

Don’t forget that the Walhalla High School Athletics Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th at Falcon’s Lair while the Seneca High School Golf Tournament is set for Friday, May 3rd at Cross Creek Plantation in Seneca. For more information, get in touch with the respective schools. 

The Clemson baseball team lost in extra innings on the road at Georgia by a score of 3-2. Meanwhile, the South Carolina baseball team picked up a big win in Charlotte last night over North Carolina by a score of 5-2.
