Sports Update For Tuesday, July 30th, 2019; South Carolina Golfer Win 44th Palmetto Amateur Golf Tournament
(Seneca, SC)——–South Carolina rising senior golfer Jamie Wilson won the 44th Palmetto Amateur golf tournament this past Saturday at the Palmetto Golf Club.
Wilson shot a -3 under par 68 in the final round to force a playoff and won the tournament on the second extra hole.
Wilson finished with a four day total of -8 under par 276 that featured three rounds in the 60’s.
Clemson women’s basketball coach Amanda Butler announced the non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2019-2020 basketball season.
Clemson will play four straight games at home to open the season that will begin with Furman on November 6th and will also feature a game with Alabama on November 12th.
Clemson will host South Carolina on November 24th and then will be headed to Daytona Beach, FL for a tournament on November 29th and November 30th.
Clemson will travel to Penn State for a game on November 21st and will travel to Iowa in the ACC/Big Ten challenge on December 4th.
The final non-conference home game of the season will take place on December 20th when Clemson hosts North Carolina A&T.
