Sports Update For Tuesday, November 19th, 2019; Clemson vs. South Carolina To Kickoff At Noon

(Seneca, SC)——-The Clemson – South Carolina football game next Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium will kickoff at Noon and will be broadcast on ESPN. 

Clemson running back Travis Etienne was named the ACC Running Back of the Week after his 121 yard rushing performance this past weekend against Wake Forest. 

South Carolina punter Joseph Charleton has been named as one of 10 semifinalists for the Ray Guy Award, which is awarded each year to the top punter in college football. 

Furman dropped to #15 in the latest AFCA FCS poll that was released yesterday after their loss to Wofford on Saturday. The Terriers, meanwhile, check in at #17. North Dakota State remains at #1. 

The South Carolina men’s basketball team will look to go 4-0 on the season as they will host Boston University at the Colonial Life Arena tonight at 7pm in a game that is part of the Cancun Challenge. 

The Furman men’s basketball team will travel to Tuscaloosa, AL to face the Crimson Tide tonight at 8pm eastern time in a mainland portion of a pre-conference basketball tournament. 

The Clemson women’s basketball team evened their season record at 2-2 with a 76-43 win over Alabama State as eleven Tigers scored in the game. 

Southern Wesleyan picked up an overtime win over the weekend, 87-81 over North Georgia, to even their record at 2-2. 

The Clemson men’s soccer team is the number two overall seed in the NCAA men’s soccer tournament. Clemson’s first game is set for this Sunday, November 24th at 6pm at Historic Riggs Field as the Tigers will take on the winner of the game between Mercer and Charlotte in the 2nd round.
