Sports Update For Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019; Walhalla Defeats Wren In Baseball Action

(Seneca, SC)—————————-Walhalla defeated Wren in baseball action last night by a score of 5-4. Landon Crane and James Hanvey had two hits each for Walhalla. 

Seneca lost in baseball action last night on the road at Crescent by a score of 5-3. Matthew Burgess had two hits and three RBI’s in the loss for the Bobcats. 

The Seneca golf team defeated West-Oak and two other teams in a golf match yesterday at Cross Creek Plantation. Seneca’s team score was 192 with Powdersville finishing second with a team score of 194. West-Oak came in third with a team score of 197 and Liberty finished fourth with a team score of 215 The medalist in the match was Seneca’s Tyson Gentry who shot a 42. Trey Miller was the low individual scorer for West-Oak with a 44. 

Seneca defeated West-Oak in softball action last night by a score of 3-1. Gabby Molloseau pitched a complete game for Seneca and struck out 10 batters. Yaminah Ragwar-Hayes had two RBI’s for the Lady Cats. 

The Walhalla softball team lost to Palmetto last night by a score of 5-0. 

Clemson lost to Georgia in college baseball action last night by a score of 5-3. South Carolina defeated North Carolina State last night by a score of 10-8 in college baseball action.
