Spring into the Library at the Westminster Branch

The weather is getting warmer, flowers are blooming, and the Westminster Library is bustling with free activities. Every day during the week of April 14-17 at 2pm, the library invites kids and their caregivers to spend part or all of your spring break with them watching movies and crafting.  On Monday and Wednesday, the library will show two just released to DVD movies with refreshments. On Tuesday, you can come and make your own Shrinky Dink bracelet. The Westminster Library will finish the week with silhouette paintings on Thursday.  The library only asks that you please register for the painting class so we can have enough canvases.  On April 21 at 6:30pm, adults and teens are invited to get in on the crafting by joining the Westminster Library for Craft it with Leah: Recycled Wreath.  All supplies and instructions will be provided and you will get to take home your own wreath at the end of the program.  Registration for this program is required. Lastly, spring cleaning is never a fun task but with a few tricks it can be easier. Come learn useful tips and products that can help alleviate some of the burden of cleaning. This Spring Cleaning DIY program will take place on April 28 at 6:30pm.  For more information on these programs, including titles of the movies, or to register for the crafts, contact the Westminster Branch at 864-647-3215.
