State Funds Approved to Pave Ten Oconee County Roads

Oconee County’s state “C” Fund Committee has approved monies to pave three roads and repair sections of 10 other roads. ore than $5.7 million of state “C” Fund money was allocated in November by the committee to re-surface Knox Road, Bayshore Drive, and Poplar Springs Road, as well as apply full-depth patching for 10 other county roads, including secondary-1, Old Clemson Highway.

Besides Old Clemson Highway, the following nine other roads are funded for full-depth patching during the paving season:

  • Jacobs Road
  • Evatt Road
  • Orchard Road
  • Battlecreek Road
  • White Cut Road
  • Bethel Church Road
  • Rock Hill Road
  • Blackjack Road
  • N. Horseshoe Bridge Road.
