Still Time to Vote for Seneca to Get Dog Park Grant

The City of Seneca has been named one of thirty finalists that could be a recipient of PetSafe’s 2022 Bark for Your Park Grant.

Nine communities across the country will be selected from those final thirty to win funds to build or improve a local dog park.

City Administrator Scott Moulder said, Seneca residents have to vote online between now and the end of the August for our city to win. He also wanted to ease the minds of area pet owners who might be concerned about illness spreading among dogs once the park opens, and told us that the city already has a plan in place to prevent the spread of diseases, as well as keeping down fleas and ticks…

Go online to https://www.BarkForYourPark.com and vote once per day for Seneca to get the grant. The four communities with the highest votes will receive $25,000 for the construction of a new park and five will be awarded $5,000 each.
