Stormwater Fees to impact Clemson

A state mandate now requires the City of Clemson to implement a permit process for managing stormwater, enforcement, inspections and operating standards. The city holds a public hearing at 7pm March 16 in Council Chambers of Clemson City Hall. The city proposes an ordinance to establish a new storm water utility with flat fees to assess residential units planned for $4 a month and commercial land at $12 a month. Public comment is invited. Clemson Clerk Beverly Coleman is also accepting written comments at City Hall.
