Strategic “Clemson Elevate” Plan Announced

A new strategic plan for Clemson University, called “Clemson Elevate,” was announced during an event on campus late last week. The plan, which will be implemented over a 12-year period, aims to further elevate the university’s success and reputation. It focuses on 15 areas that were identified through the work of over 200 people, such as academic success and experiential learning, human performance, and energy transformation and advanced manufacturing.

Three strategic pillars were also identified, which include delivering the No. 1 student experience, doubling research by 2035, and transforming lives through measurable health and economic development. The plan intentionally creates opportunities for the pillars to build upon one another, according to Provost Bob Jones.

The goal is to combine Clemson’s strengths with opportunities for the university’s next chapter.
