Suspect Arrested After Seven Year Investigation, Another Charged with Meth Distribution

39-year old Brian Keith Jones was arrested late Saturday night by Seneca Police and charged with distribution of meth. Police said they spotted a suspicious vehicle parked behind the movie theatre on the 123 By-Pass, which prompted them to investigate and led to the discovery of the suspect in the car alone, allegedly in possession of drugs.

In a separate incident on Sunday, Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 30 year-old Thomas Obrian Griffin and charged him with first degree assault and batter. Warrants allege that seven years ago, back on December 27 of 2013, Griffin cut Wynton Botchway on the head and upper body with a razor knife. The alleged incident reportedly happened on the side of the road near Ravenel Elementary.
