Suspect in Oconee County Charged with Drug Offenses; Couple in Anderson County Charged with Assault

Oconee County Deputies have charged 39 year-old Randall Adam King with his third or subsequent offense of methamphetamine possession, as well as possession of marijuana and bringing contraband into the jail. Bond on those charges was set at $35,000. He was also served a general sessions bench warrant when he was arrested on Monday, according to jail records, and remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center.

Penny Marie Armstrong

Damian Shamar Clements

In Anderson County, authorities have charged both Penny Marie Armstrong and Damian Shamar Clements with three counts each of breaking into motor vehicles, and one count each of first degree assault and battery, grand larceny and discharging firearms into a dwelling. Both Armstrong and Clements were arrested on Monday and remain in custody at the Anderson County Detention Center without bond.

Billy Jack Manley

Pickens City Police arrested a man Sunday on weapons charges. According to jail records, Billy Jack Manley is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and pointing a firearm at another person. He was booked into the Pickens County Detention Center and released on $30,000 bond.
