Suspected Flasher Arrested

A man suspected of flashing a student in the parking lot of Pendleton High School last week is behind bars. Scott Huestis Brannan of Six Mile stands charged with burglary in the second degree, indecent exposure and driving under suspension by the Clemson City Police Department. Investigators accuse Brannan of parking next to the victim, getting out of his vehicle and into her vehicle, where he exposed himself. The student made no contact with Brannan and was uninjured. She ran to nearby school officials to report the incident but Brannan had fled when they returned. In addition, Brannan is accused of going into a home in Clemson and exposing himself there. He is accused of exposing himself at a home in Central as well. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Central Police Department and Clemson City Police Department started a joint investigation last week. Brannan was stopped on Tuesday driving a vehicle matching the description of the one from the incidents and was taken into custody. Additional charges are expected from the other agencies.
