Swinney receives Sixth Coach of the Year Award

For the sixth time this season, Clemson University Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney receives a National Coach of the Year award. On Tuesday, Swinney was named the National Coach of the Year by the American Football Coaches Association. He is the first Clemson University coach to receive the award since Danny Ford in 1981. Swinney just concluded his seventh full season as the Tigers head coach, posting a 75-27 record during that time at the school. The Clemson Tigers finish the 2015 season ranked No. 2 in the AP and USA Today polls after loosing to Alabama in the National Football Playoff Championship Game, 45-40, on Monday night.
