TCTC working on New Criminal Justice Curriculum

The criminal justice profession is constantly evolving and in order to keep up with that change, Tri-County Technical College is working on ways to improve their curriculum, explains Dr. Chris McFarlin, director of the college’s Criminal Justice and Paralegal programs. “We are looking at and we are going to move forward with designing a new certificate program in the Criminal Justice Department and it is going to be called our Criminal Justice Leadership and Management Certificate. This is designed for those individuals currently working in any criminal justice agency whether it is law enforcement, parole, probation, etc. that wants some training that is going to make them competitive and educated enough to move into a leadership supervisory role. That is something that we hope to be rolling out in the next few semesters.” Dr. McFarlin asks those interested in this new Criminal Justice Leadership and Management Certificate program to check for updates on the department’s facebook page at facebook.com/tctccrj.
