Teen Charged with Attempted Murder

A teen is in the Oconee County Detention Center awaiting bond on charges of attempted murder, criminal domestic violence, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and malicious injury to property. 18 year-old Truett Gregory Brock of Westminster was arrested on Tuesday and booked into jail just before midnight by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, according to jail records. Details are anticipated once an investigation is completed.

Other arrests in Oconee County, on Tuesday Sheriff’s Deputies charged both 42 year-old Nancy Lee Ramey of Toccoa, GA and 40 year-old Shasta Denard Richardson of Westminster with one count each of possession of meth. Bond was set at $5,000 for each.
April Rene Winchester
51 year-old April Rene Winchester of Walhalla is in custody charged with possession of meth, distributing meth, both her third or subsequent offense, and bringing contraband in the jail. Bond was set at $55,000.
