Teenager Wanted in Assault and Battery by Mob Investigation Arrested

Chase Landon Bonecutter, a 19-year-old from Seneca, was arrested Thursday on charges of Assault and Battery by Mob – 2nd Degree.

The arrest was part of an investigation into an assault that occurred on January 20th. Bonecutter, along with Andrew Lee Bryson, Kellie Renee Brown, and Michael Joseph Marcello, Jr., were identified as the assailants who reportedly used metal pipes in the assault.

The victim, an adult male, was hospitalized for his injuries. Brown was later released on a $25,000 surety bond and an electronic monitoring device. Marcello, Jr. was given a similar $25,000 surety bond and will also be required to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of bond, should he be released from jail. However, at this time, Marcello, Jr. remains in jail.

Bryson remains at large. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with information on the whereabouts of Andrew Lee Bryson to call 911 or submit a tip online to Crimestoppers. Tips leading to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
