Temporary Closure of Plat Room in Oconee County Register of Deeds

(Walhalla, SC) – On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, the Oconee County Register of
Deeds Plat Room will be temporarily closed due to facilities maintenance.

According to Director of the Oconee County Register of Deeds office Anna Davison,
the plat room is having carpet replaced and will be closed to the public for the day.

Citizens and patrons may search deeds and plats online at https://oconeesc.com/register-of-deeds-home.

Users will need to sign up for a free account before accessing any records. If you are unable to visit the website, please contact the Register of Deeds office at (864) 638-4285.

The office will remain open to record legal documents into the public record and provide certified copies in person, as needed.
