Three arrested near Seneca after reports of Shots fired

Clarence Curtis Hendrix, Jr.The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals after responding to reports of a fight and shots fired in an area near Seneca. On Wednesday, 25-year-old Clarence Curtis Hendrix, Jr., 27-year-old Vontria Beatrice Walker and 29-year-old Undre Bias Randolph were booked into the Oconee County Detention Center. The E-911 Communications Center received a call for service around 2:32pm Wednesday from an individual who reported subjects fighting and a shot being fired at 105 Davis Mill Park Road in Seneca. Deputies from the Uniform Patrol Division, the Criminal Investigation Division and the P.A.C.E. team responded to the scene. When deputies arrived, they made contact with Hendrix, Jr. and Randolph outside of the residence. Walker arrived on the scene shortly after deputies made initial contact at the scene. As the investigation continued, deputies learned that there was no fight and that the subjects told them they were playing with fireworks. However, deputies did discover bullet casings in the yard of the residence and according to deputies; no fireworks were located at the residence. Deputies also discovered no injuries and that no one had been shot. Due to evidence found on the scene in plain sight, Narcotics Agents obtained and executed a search warrant. Upon its execution, deputies discovered multiple firearms inside as well as narcotics and cash. Two small children were also discovered at the residence and the Department of Social Services was contacted in reference to the children. The children were placed in a safe environment. In warrants obtained by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, Hendrix, Jr. stands charged with possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony due to a firearm being located in his proximity in the yard. Walker and Randolph were charged with one count each of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
