Three Charged with Ill Treatment of Animals

Three individuals were arrested for severe animal mistreatment in Anderson County. Over 20 pets were found in deplorable conditions in a house on Master Driver after an investigation that began in November. The animals, including dogs, rabbits, fish, guinea pigs, kittens, doves, chickens, and cats, were rescued by animal control. The accused are Dianne Cricket Osborne, 55, Gladys Ruth Lindley, 38, and Wallace Eugene Johnson, 46. Osborne, charged with eight counts of animal ill-treatment and one count of failure to bury a deceased animal, was released on a $25,000 bond. Lindley and Johnson, each charged with 15 counts of animal ill-treatment and one count of failure to bury a deceased animal, remain in detention on a $46,000 bond.
