Tiger Boulevard McDonald’s Being Rebuilt

The original Clemson McDonald's on Tiger Blvd. was built in 1976

The Tiger Boulevard McDonald’s Restaurant is getting a makeover from the ground up. The old building was demolished in mid-May and is currently being rebuilt with plans to reopen in August.

Restaurant owner James Partridge, also a Clemson resident, said it was time to update the facility, after years of serving the greater Clemson area from the original structure.

The original restaurant was built in 1976, only three years after the iconic Quarter Pounder was introduced. Over the last 45 years, the restaurant has employed thousands and served hundreds of thousands.

The restaurant plans to employ 75- 90 persons and has openings at all levels, all shifts, and from entry level to advanced management.
