Tigers and Gamecocks rank in Top 25

The Clemson Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks continue to rank in the Top 25 of The Associated Press college football poll.  The top of the rankings are unchanged after No. 1 Alabama passed its first big test of the season. The Tide received all but one of 60 first-place votes from the media panel after beating Texas A&M 49-42. The Aggies are 10th. The rest of the top five is Oregon, Clemson, Ohio State and Stanford. South Carolina rose from 13 to 12 in the AP poll after defeating Vanderbilt 35-25 at home this past Saturday. They also rose in the USA Today poll from 14 to 13. Clemson held steady in both polls (3 and 4 respectively) during their off weekend. They travel to Raleigh to face North Carolina State Thursday night.  The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
