Tigers beat Gamecocks to stay Purr-fect

The Clemson Tigers finish the regular season undefeated after a 37-32 victory on Saturday in Columbia over their state rivals, the South Carolina Gamecocks. Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson scored four touchdowns, three rushing and one passing to keep the Tigers’ hopes alive for a spot in the College Football Playoff. With the win, Clemson improves to 12-0 for the first time since their 1981 National Championship season. The Tigers play the North Carolina Tar Heels for the ACC Title on Saturday, Dec. 5. The South Carolina Gamecocks finished the season at 3-9.
