Tigers defeat Gamecocks 35-17

Coach Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers ended a five game losing streak to rival South Carolina with a 35-17 victory on Saturday at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium in Death Valley. With the win, the Tigers improve to 9-3, while the Gamecocks fall to 6-6 on the season. The Tigers’ offense was bolstered by the return of freshman quarterback Deshaun Watson, who went 14 of 19 for 269 yards passing and two rushing TDs. It was Watson’s first significant action since an injury against North Carolina State on Oct. 4.
