Time and Date changes for Local Football Games

All three high school varsity football teams in the School District of Oconee County will be playing tonight, Sept. 13, 2018. The Seneca Bobcats travel to play the Palmetto Mustangs in Williamston tonight at 7pm. In Greenville tonight, the West-Oak Warriors visit the St. Joseph’s Knights with kickoff slated for 7pm. The Walhalla Razorbacks host the Powdersville Patriots at 7:30pm tonight. The Daniel Lions game at Ridge View in Columbia has been canceled due to Hurricane Florence. On Saturday, Sept. 15, the Clemson Tigers welcome the Georgia Southern Eagles for a noon game. The University announced Wednesday that in response to the potential effects of Hurricane Florence, kickoff on Saturday has been moved up from 3:30pm to noon. Clemson University officials continue to work with emergency management personnel, the ACC Office and Georgia Southern officials this week in preparation for Hurricane Florence and how it may alter operations for the game on Saturday. As the storm continues to be monitored, additional updates will be distributed by the athletic department and fans are encouraged to check www.clemsontigers.com for the most up-to-date information. Fans are asked to make plans to arrive early, expect delays in traffic and parking and exercise patience in their commute to and from campus. In light of the shifting forecast and probable path of Hurricane Florence, the University of South Carolina has canceled the football game versus Marshall that was scheduled to be played Saturday evening, Sept. 15, at 7:30pm. The Gamecocks will look for an opportunity to play a 12th regular season game later this season.
