Tom Hill Memorial Benefit Concert and Rescuers Recognition

The community is invited to Owens Stadium in Westminster this Saturday from 4 – 9pm for a benefit for the family of Tom Hill of Tampa, Florida, who recently lost his life on the Chattooga River. This event will also honor the rescuers from 28 different agencies who joined in the 17-day recovery effort.  A BBQ dinner and car show is planned, with vendors, food, and fun for the kids and music on the field all evening. A suggested $5 donation will be taken at the gate, with all proceeds from the event going directly to an education fund that has been established for Mr. Hill’s four children.  Jaycie Ward, Chatuga Ridge, Mark and Jody Vissage, Doyle Burton and the Silver Dollar Gang, Kim Conn, Jeremy McCall, and Confederate Attitude will perform. To make a tax-deductible donation, go to any Wells Fargo, ask to deposit to the Winters Foundation for The Tom Hill Memorial Benefit. Make Checks payable to The Tom Hill Memorial Benefit. The benefit concert and rescuers recognition is hosted by Sun City Promotions and The Winters Foundation.
