Toys For Tots Toy Run Oct. 25

The Toys for Tots Toy Run in Oconee County is coming up, Oct. 25. The event will begin at Sertoma Field in Walhalla and conclude on Main Street in Seneca. Those who would like to participate are asked to meet at Sertoma Field at noon with the ride beginning at 1pm. The event will take place rain or shine. The only requirement to participate will be to bring a new, unwrapped book, game or toy (for health reasons stuffed animals will not be accepted). For those who would like to donate but not participate, there will be Marines at both ends of the run to accept your gifts. All types of vehicles, from bikes to street rods to jeeps can ride and there will be a law enforcement escort.
