Tractor-trailer Crash slows down I-85

It took more than eight hours to clear I-85 in Anderson County after two tractor-trailers crashed near mile marker 6 Thursday morning. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports the crash happened around 1:20am when the driver of a FedEx truck rear-ended another truck. The driver of the FedEx truck was taken to the hospital and the driver of the other truck was not injured. Traffic was delayed due to around 20-30 gallons of diesel spilling on the interstate. Hazmat was called to the scene to assist with the clean up of non-hazardous materials. By 10am, both lanes of I-85 southbound were reopened.
