Tumbling Gas Prices

Gas prices keep tumbling. The average cost of a gallon of gasoline fell 14 cents over the past two weeks to $3.38 according to Lundberg Survey Publisher Trilby Lundberg.  She doubts prices at the pump will continue to fall at this level.  “We will probably not see further price cutting at the pump, certainly not to this magnitude that is because the lower crude oil prices that occurred in September have already been working their way through and have already arrived on the street.” Supply is not an issue, concludes Lundberg.  “Not only we’re we able to skirt the possible wrath of Storm Karen but there is plenty of crude oil and plenty of gasoline in the U.S. system and worldwide.” This was the biggest price drop recorded by the survey since last November.
