Two Arrested Following Toddler’s Death in September

In a heartbreaking incident, a seven-year-old girl named Adylyn Briella Thrasher was discovered lifeless at her residence on August 30, succumbing to Methadone toxicity. Following an emergency 911 call, she was rushed to AnMed and subsequently transferred to Prisma Health’s Children’s Hospital. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, she tragically passed away on September 3. The autopsy report revealed the cause of death to be cardiac arrest induced by a Methadone overdose.

In the wake of this revelation, Roxanne King, aged 25, and Joshua Lollis, aged 28, were taken into custody on charges of child endangerment by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, December 22. The case is currently under active investigation, with only limited information available.
